“Lurker” Lou Sarowsky

The first wheels were stone. In this series of wheels I carved through soft sediment stone to hard igneous granite. While starting to venture back to NYC for week long trips, it only made sense to work in artificial stone as well like concrete and brick.

Revisiting mold making and casting concrete in the last week with wheels has reaffirmed my passion for carving rather than casting when it comes to sculpture.
