I am a neo-Appalachian artist from the Wolf Hills of Abingdon, Virginia. With an emphasis on surreal portraiture and figure drawing, I look for ways to illustrate the ghosts of things that haunt us.

Near the beginning of the pandemic, it was a lot easier to focus on the anxieties surrounding isolation. Now that vaccines are more widely available, and there has been a window to begin to digest the impact it has had on our collective consciousness, I’ve tried to focus more on illustrating the anxieties as an opportunity for self reflection and growth.
